What to expect?
Hatha is a traditional form of yoga, meaning forceful, wilful, movement... Hatha is a sanskrit word also translated as the Sun and Moon: "ha-" = Sun, "-tha" = Moon. In the Yogic system, the Sun and Moon can be represented in the left and ride side of our bodies, through the Yin and Yang energies. This is why in Hatha we flow and balance both sides of the body, to resemble, reflect and honour these energies. In this class you will work your whole body in a fluid and relaxing way. We will practise breathing techniques that compliment your physical movements and bring peace and awareness in your mind. You will leave feeling refreshed, calm and peaceful.
